Best Miami Spice Seafood Restaurants

 In Miami Spice

Miami is one of the many cities with thriving food culture. You may eat at some of the top restaurants in the world and discover some of the most delicious cuisines. And even if it seems strange to visit Miami during its humid summer days, when it comes to eating good food, it’s one of the best times to come here.

It is because a two-month-long gourmet festival, Miami Spice, is happening during that time. The event is perfect for indulging in delicious food and spending the end of the summer in the best way possible.

And if you’ve never heard about Miami Spice restaurants and what’s it all about, we will help you out. We’ve arranged a list of the best Miami Spice restaurants specializing in seafood, and we’ve gathered their offers, so you don’t have to.

Let’s go and see where you can eat seafood in Miami.

Miami Spice: What Is It?

Locals are familiar with this event, but if you’ve never heard of it, let us introduce you.

Anyone who enjoys a nice meal and likes to try new things should attend Miami Spice. A long tradition dating back 21 years has been created for this occasion. Back in the day, there were not many tourists during the low season in Miami, or should we say during summer. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau devised an idea years ago to draw more visitors to the city during the sweltering days.

Miami Spice is an occasion that highlights the many restaurants this city has to offer and lasts for two months during the off-season.

Over time, the number of tourists and high-quality restaurants increased, but the custom of this special celebration persisted. Locals and tourists alike now eagerly anticipate the months of August and September.

Miami Spice restaurants offer exceptional prices throughout the event, including brunch or lunch meals for $28 and dinner for $45 or $60, including an appetizer, an entrée, and something sweet.

Stiltsville Fish Bar

If you go to Stiltsville Fish Bar, you will find the best seafood there. Fresh ingredients and warm southern hospitality are here a priority. This nautically themed establishment is run by Janine Booth and Jeff McInnis, a gourmet couple. It has a stunning view of Maurice Gibb Memorial Park, and you also get a view of the fresh fish display while dining. During Miami Spice, the restaurant offers a lunch menu for $28 and a dinner menu for $45. Both options are fantastic, and you will be in for a treat, whichever you decide. Our recommendation from the lunch menu is Grilled Mango Salad or Crab Cake and Shrimp n’Grits or Krab Wedge Salad. And to crown your dining experience, you’ll be able to indulge in an authentic sweet staple, Coconut Key Lime Pie.

Bayshore Club

We have a newcomer on our list, but they’ve totally deserved it. The new waterfront restaurant in Coconut Grove is open only for a short time, but the locals and the tourists already love them and treat them as a go-to place when it comes to Seafood in Miami. Bayshore Club offers an incredibly curated seafood menu and an incredible dining experience with a view. You must visit this establishment while Miami Spice is happening, and we recommend you try something from the Raw Bar. And to enjoy the view even more, you must take a sip of one of their perfectly blended cocktails, like the Marina Mule or The Landing. Or, if you are more of a wine lover, they have a fabulous wine card featuring white, rose, and red wines from both the Old and the New World. And there’s also bubbly from Italy and France that goes perfectly with most seafood dishes.

Sexy Fish Miami

When it comes to seafood restaurants in Miami, this is one sexy place with a perfect menu and good seafood options. This sexy spot is located in the heart of Brickell’s financial district, and it’s worth your time going there. The best thing about it is its unique and exciting dishes. The seafood options are Asian-inspired, and you have a chance to try some very inspiring dishes and pamper your palate with unique flavors. And what’s interesting is that they also have vegan and vegetarian options, so you can go there with friends who don’t eat seafood.

During Miami Spice, they offer a lunch menu for $28, which is a steal considering what this place offers. They have a ton of items for you to choose from on their Miami Spice menu, so it would be a great idea to go with friends so you have a chance to try more things. For appetizers, go with Crispy Tofu, Salad Greens, and Bang Bang Vegetable Salad if you want plant-based options, or Salmon Tataki & Yuzu Miso for a seafood option. And a fantastic option that you probably wouldn’t think of is the Burrata & Kimchi. For entrée, there are so many options that we can’t decide which to recommend, but we will go with Grilled Tiger Prawn or Steamed Sea Bass.

Prime Fish

Prime Fish has excellent fish dishes, and you can try them if you visit this fine establishment in South Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. The place is a perfect combination of a fine dining place and a cozy, casual one, and the food goes along with the atmosphere. Fortunately, Prime Fish decided to be one of the Miami Spice Restaurants this year, and you can enjoy their special dinner menu for $45. Try their Ceviche Misto or Crispy Key West Calamari, and their Homemade Seafood Dumplings must be a must. Regarding main dishes, Baked Branzino is out of this world, and we can say the same for their Wok Charred Wild King Salmon. And don’t you dare skip on dessert, as there are various options like Fried Oreos with French Vanilla Ice Cream or Chocolate Pudding Smores with Bourbon.

Estiatorio Milos

If you want to be teleported to the Mediterranean coast, Estiatorio Milos is the place to go. This Greek-inspired restaurant is one of a kind, and it is waiting for you in the South Beach of Fifth neighborhood. It’s a place for real food lovers and those who appreciate delicious seafood. Everybody knows about this place, and the next two months is the perfect time to finally visit it, as they are giving you a chance to try their mouthwatering dishes during dinner time for $60. And while dining there, be prepared to feel like you are at the mountain Olympus, surrounded by Greek gods, because the food and the atmosphere are out of this world. They are also known for preparing food right before you, so you will definitely enjoy the show. And when it comes to their unique menu, you can choose from Fresh Oysters, Daily Crudo or Grilled Octopus and Grilled Dorade Royale, Salt Crust Lavraki that you can share with friends, Shrimp Saganaki, and a few more things. And to finish the night off, order their Chocolate Mousse Cake.

And we are at the end of our list, meaning that you now need to make a list of your own. Make a good plan and try to visit every spot we share with you, as it is worth it.
